In the course of its digital transformation strategy, our client K - Mail Order, fundamentally changed the system landscape around its advertising material process.


A new tool specifically developed for selecting the products to be included in the advertising materials had to be integrated into the system landscape. This technological innovation also brought about a substantial change in the workflow of the respective departments.

Our
approach

Intermediaries between specialist departments and the digitalisation initiative.

Proactive communication was particularly important in this project. We therefore saw ourselves as intermediaries between the specialist departments and the digitalisation initiative, moderating the transformation process at local level. The constant changes in the system landscape presented the specialist departments with ever-new, unforeseen challenges. However, through fast and agile approaches and transparent exchanges, we were able to quickly resolve these challenges.

Solution &
results

Turning skeptics into supporters.

Through close collaboration with the departments, we have been able to turn sceptics into supporters of the digital initiative. The new tool enabled the users to make data-driven decisions. Processes that previously took place in emails, Excel and PowerPoint then occured centrally within a single tool.

It was really great how quickly Spaceteams grasped the tricky dependencies in our value chain and was then able to present possible solutions for our operational ‘pain points‘ in a very short time.
