situation

The multichannel retailer Klingel was using an old legacy system for its purchasing, inventory and order processes. The data contained in this system was crucial for the new software development for many business areas and thus for the progress of the digital transformation initiative.


However, the host system was not scalable in line with the increasing number of consumers. System failures had to be avoided and there was a risk of downtime for several software teams.

Our
approach

Develop effective solution beyond sub-project boundaries.

Originally tasked with only one of the sub-projects, we came on board and quickly recognised the underlying problem. Since we had the necessary technical skills, we took it upon ourselves to address the issue and went beyond the scope of our assigned task to outline a solution. We successfully put this solution into practice, resolving the data bottleneck in the short term.
