Agile Product & Team Coach (all genders)

permanent

Hi, we’re Spaceteams! We build high-quality software solutions with real impact — pragmatic, fast, and without unnecessary frills. We deliver diverse projects across a wide range of industries such as e-commerce, gaming, publishing, and more — always looking for new challenges.

We foster a culture that celebrates teamwork, agile ways of working, and measurable results. Our approach is direct, solution-oriented, authentic, and customer-focused.

We are currently a team of around 22 people, distributed across Germany, with our headquarters in Hamburg.

As an Agile Product & Team Coach (all genders), you take on real leadership responsibility. Your goal: to reliably lead your team to strong results — professionally, methodologically, and on a human level. Depending on the project, you take on a varied role: sometimes more Product Owner, sometimes more Team Coach (often both).

Our Product & Team Coaches are Carola, Franci, and Basti, who work hand in hand with our Software Engineers and the CEO to support the teams. Each coach is responsible for a specific team. They regularly exchange ideas and think together about how to reach the next goal.

About your job

You …

  • deliver results together with the team and ensure you reliably reach your goals
  • support our teams and clients in product discovery
  • act as the primary contact for the client regarding project and product, keeping communication, expectations, and decisions aligned and transparent
  • take responsibility for planning, steering, and successfully delivering demanding time-and-material projects with fixed deadlines
  • continuously develop your team — professionally and personally
  • foster ownership and ensure adherence to team agreements
  • keep scope, risks, and budget in view: identify early, make transparent, actively counteract, and make well-founded decisions
  • make progress visible to management and clients
  • resolve conflicts and drive real solutions
  • actively contribute within our Product & Team Coach team
For us, this role is not a “nice-to-have” or simply a feel-good factor within our teams. We see it as a leadership position and offer you various opportunities and perspectives to grow beyond yourself and professionally support the teams.

About you

What you should bring:

  • At least 4 years of experience as an Agile Coach or Product Owner in agile software teams.
  • You are a good listener, can make complex topics understandable, and moderate discussions effectively.
  • You are motivated to take responsibility for results, collaboration, and continuous development.
  • You are proficient in agile methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, OKRs), apply them appropriately to the situation, and know when they truly create value.
  • You work in a self-organized and structured way, even in a fully remote environment.
  • You communicate confidently in German or English (written and spoken).
  • You have a valid EU work permit.

Additionally, you:

  • are motivated to deliver projects as one team.
  • have experience in product development or coaching technical teams.
  • enjoy sharing your knowledge with the team and supporting them at all times.
  • feel comfortable in a remote work environment and at the same time look forward to our monthly on-site meetings in Hamburg.

About us

You should work with us if you are committed, eager to grow, and feel that the typical Agile Coach role as lived in the market is not enough for you.

We speak plainly, avoid buzzwords, and value authenticity. At Spaceteams, transparency is a core working principle. We celebrate successes together and openly learn from mistakes — without blame. If you are looking for honest collaboration, a supportive environment, and challenging work, you’ve come to the right place.

What we also offer so you can grow and feel comfortable:

  • Salary: depending on experience and responsibility between €60,000 – €80,000 gross per year (full-time)
  • €75 monthly home office allowance
  • Flexible working hours & 100% remote possible
  • Up to 20% of working time for professional development (“Spacetime”)
  • Premium hardware & ergonomic home office equipment
  • €1,500 budget for your business bike
  • 30 vacation days, Urban Sports Club membership, company pension scheme
  • Regular team meetings in Hamburg & team events
